Candidate will join a team delivering the full software development and integration lifecycle. The project designs, develops, enhances, tests, integrates, operates and maintains a suite of web-based systems. The candidate will perform software development and engineering tasks in support of one or more of these systems, under supervision from a senior software engineer at first, with increasing responsibility to include becoming primary developer for one or more systems.
+ Basic qualifications
- 1-5 years experience (junior to mid level).
- Experience and/or education writing software code.
- Java and/or .NET (C#) skills/experience (preferably both, but if they have one, the other is a big plus).
- Relational database skills/experience (preferably MS SQL Server, but MySQL/Oracle will suffice).
- Linguistic processing technology (Latent Semantic Indexing is ideal, but unlikely we will find that).
- Experience in software design / development / implementation.
- Experience briefing stakeholders, including front-line users and product owners.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology.
- Experience with cloud-deployed systems, particularly Amazon Web Services.
- Experience / skill developing and maintaining unit test scripts.
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
