The Robotics Process Automation Developer (RPA) will lead teams of developers and develop both technical designs and code process automations. The Intelligent Automation Developer will have responsibility for supporting the creation and evolution of the delivery framework, mentoring other automation developers, designing the technical design documents (TDD), and delivering the automated processes on schedule and with quality.

Responsibilities include, but may not be restricted to:

  • Delivers process automations for more than one team and works closely with developers, testers, process architects and technical architects to ensure delivery within schedule and with quality.

  • Familiar with solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the multiple automation delivery teams.
  • Develops the technical design documents (TDD) and ensures proper handover of the technical design to developers to code the automations as per design. Provides technical direction and leadership for the junior technical leads/developers on the team.
  • Performs Quality Control over the design and code developed by the automation developers.
  • Recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
  • Ensures reusable components are designed & developed where applicable.
  • Keeps Project Manager informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and mentors junior technical leads and developers.


  • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    • 4-year Technical Bachelor's Degree (i.e. Computer Science) OR 6 years of relevant Technical experience
    • 2+ years of technical training or implementation experience in Robotics Process Automation software (i.e. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.)
    • US Citizen required (dual citizenship not eligible for consideration)

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous development experience with .NET, Visual Basic, Python, C#
    • Must have a strong understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
    • Prior experience in UI automation, Robotics process automation is an added advantage
    • Certification in Robotics
    • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
    • Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented, with leadership qualities
    • Good communication and client management skills, ability to interact with clients and gather business requirements


    An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
