The Mobile Team Lead is responsible for the mobile application development and maintenance process for a large government agency. The lead must have experience with the following:

  • Enterprise applications that utilize mobile device management solutions to manage corporate or government security
  • Mobile performance management solutions that track device usage, API performance, device environment, crash reporting and other attributes associated with enterprise mobile applications
  • Capture requirements and develop application design using design thinking principals
  • Experience using wireframing and prototyping tools
  • Design applications for low and connectivity, working in offline mode, and outlining how to resolve data conflicts
  • Create change management plans to ensure successful adoption of mobile capabilities
  • Create long term plans for navigating operating system upgrades, devices upgrades, and technological upgrades


Qualifications

Basic Skills & Qualifications:
  • US Citizen
  • 5+ years of managing the software development life-cycle
  • 2+ years of mobile application development
  • Experience managing both functional and technical resources as part of a larger team delivering and supporting a large suite of applications
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred that the lead have both iOS and Android experience as well as a background with:
  • Enterprise applications that utilize mobile device management solutions to manage corporate or government security
  • Mobile performance management solutions that track device usage, API performance, device environment, crash reporting and other attributes associated with enterprise mobile applications
  • Capturing requirements and building application design using design thinking principals
  • Experience using wire-framing and prototyping tools
  • Designing application for low and connectivity, working in offline mode, and outlining how to resolve data conflicts
  • Creating change management plans to ensure successful adoption of mobile capabilities
  • Creating long term plans for navigating operating system upgrades, devices upgrades, and technological upgrades

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
