Our IT Operations Site Associate Manager will be responsible for support duties including setting up user accounts, user roles and profiles and monitoring and maintaining Operating System operations of Workstation at the Protection Level 4 Security Certification Level.

Additionally, personnel shall maintain 24/7 daily systems operations at the UNITED KINGDOM U.S. site, (on-call after initial forty (40) hour work week) - backups, communication trouble shooting, and complete system monitoring in support of operational requirements. Conduct installation of software updates, track archive maintenance, system maintenance and installation of system-wide software and allocation of mass storage space. Maintain local area network connectivity, crypto monitoring (if required) and support of operational briefs and meetings. Provide time critical software and hardware support for 24/7 U.S. operations. Provide training to watch personnel of track data base management, receipt, analysis and dissemination of various products (including message generation, graphic briefs creation, and track management functions. Provide emergency trouble shooting on a 24/7 basis to support site operations. Coordinate with other U.S. entities to ensure continuous communications connectivity with both local and U.S. assets

+ Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Math (OR Equivalent)
  • 5+ years experience with development/systems administration
  • Knowledge on Red Hat Linux Operating Systems and of the Security Enhancement core
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Foreign re-location to the UNITED KINGDOM (near U.S. Base) required to support system installations
  • Must agree to a 3 year minimum work contract due to foreign re-location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with providing User training
  • Experience with maintaining router/switch and other firewall devices
  • Experience with system trouble-shooting and performance issues

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
