Responsibilities include:

  • Managing, building, configuring, administering, operating and maintaining all components that comprise the DevOps environment
  • Developing and maintaining scripts to automate deployment and other tasks
  • Scripting and maintaining build environments
  • Resolving complex UNIX/Linus systems administration issues
  • Working with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment
  • Conducting round table discussions on capabilities
  • Defining enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practices
  • Codifying software development best practices across the enterprise
  • Developing automated testing framework within DevOps processes


+ Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required (dual citizenship not eligible for consideration)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, other technical degree, or an additional four years related experience
  • 5+ years experience with complex systems
  • 8+ years working in a UNIX environment (Linux preferred)
  • 4+ year scripting (e.g. Java, Python, Bash)
  • 1 year of experience with build automation (Jenkins, Hudson)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Solution Architect certification
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Salt, Ansible)
  • Experience with Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with build-time dependency management (e.g. Ant, Maven)
  • Experience with test automation techniques and tools
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
