The AFS Adversary Research and Reconnaissance Team (ARRT) provides full spectrum cyber operations capabilities to the federal government, including developing world class capabilities to arm its operators in battling this nation's adversaries across the globe. We are currently looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with a passion to design, develop, and automate solutions to test advanced CNO capabilities running on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS platforms. Test results feed back into the development pipeline based around agile methodology.
We work in a unique and fast-paced environment and you will be encouraged to collaborate with our research and development teams and bring innovative ideas to the position. Members of this team are highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work well independently as well as within a team.
+ Basic qualifications
- 5 years of software development experience in a high-level or scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- 3 years of experience configuring and administrating multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, mobile) on bare metal and within a virtual environment
- 3 years of experience with continuous integration, provisioning, and testing frameworks (e.g. Jenkins, Chef, Ansible)
- 2 years experience communicating to team members and leadership with written and verbal briefs/updates
- US Citizenship required
- Experience working with a distributed team
- Operational knowledge of current offensive/defensive security practices
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
