The San Antonio Innovation & Technology Delivery Center (SADC) is part of the Accenture's US Delivery Center organization, which is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions.
We are excited to offer the Accenture Veteran and Military Spouse On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program, a unique program for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)-eligible veterans and military spouses who want to pursue a career in technology and software engineering. The Accenture OJT Training Program is a two to four-week classroom training program followed by several weeks of On-the-Job Training as an Entry Level Technology Associate with Accenture Federal Services.
To deliver this program, Accenture is partnering with Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA). Workforce Solutions Alamo Board serves as the governing board for the regional workforce system, a network of service providers and contractors that brings people and jobs together in San Antonio, TX. WSA represents the taxpayers of the 13-county Alamo region. Their membership reflects the diverse constituencies of the regional community: business, economic development, education, labor, community organizations, and government.
As an Entry Level Technology Associate, you will assist with the development, delivery and management of technology-based business solutions. You may work on coding, testing and implementing configuration changes; assist in the design of software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements; or provide project management support.
You will be part of our global network of technology experts that provides programming and technology implementation services for clients across the entire range of industry sectors. From application development and architecture to software maintenance and systems administration, we help turn innovation into effective technology solutions.

Training and Development:
From day one, we're committed to providing you with the right experiences, learning and coaching to help you become an effective professional. As an Entry Level Technology Associate, you will benefit from a robust training curriculum that will build your business acumen, technical and professional skills. Learning will take place both on the job and through formal training conducted online, in the classroom or in collaboration with teammates.
Engagement with Workforce Solutions Alamo
Participants agree to meet with and complete the application for eligibility with Workforce Solutions Alamo to determine Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) eligibility. The process may take place over two or three days at a local Workforce center. Participants will also meet with Workforce Solutions Alamo case managers during the training program to share experiences, challenges, and participation satisfaction.
WIOA eligibility determination will be at the sole discretion of Workforce Solutions Alamo based upon current eligibility guidelines determined by the Texas Workforce Commission.
Eligibility for hire by Accenture Federal Services will be at the sole discretion of Accenture Federal Services.
+ Basic qualifications
- High School Diploma
- US Citizen - no dual Citizenship
- Eligible for WIOA Support Services
- Transitioning service member/veteran or military spouse
- 6+ months of hands on Object Oriented Programming or Java development either in a work environment or school setting
- Associate's Degree
- Ability to contribute to higher performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value
- Ability to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Ability to complete task on set budgetary parameters and targets
- Validated ability to work independently and as a team member
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
