Role Description: We are seeking suitably qualified high performing professional to join our Information Security group. You will be involved in providing assurance services to our portfolio of clients in the Financial Services industry. You will be responsible for the execution of external internal and client originated audit activities related to information security and regulatory compliance. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their technical knowledge of the Financial Services industry as well as having the opportunity to work with a number of high profile financial institutions. The position reports to VP of Information Security and will have direct responsibility for a number of audit related activities as follows Provide management and deliver high quality audit and assurance services, including preparing and reviewing due diligence requests, audit plans and work, and participating in client directed on site reviews. Manage internal audit activities related to information security and regulatory compliance. Manage third party audit activities to include new partner onboarding and annual reviews. Develop internal tools and knowledge to assist in ongoing audit activities related to the above. Assist with annual SOC1 SOC2 Audit Activities Align client partner communications with organization goals Achieve team company business plans performance objectives. Maintain the highest technical and professional standard. Think strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks. Providing additional help and guidance to internal teams on a consultancy basis. Participates in the development of ways to meet client needs. Identifying ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value. Undertake wider role activities, as required.
+ Basic qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of internal external information security audit experience, ideally with exposure to financial services and regulatory compliance sectors.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with cybersecurity fundamentals including: encryption, app sec, 3rd party security
- CISSP or similar certification preferred
