Accenture's Cloud First Infrastructure Engineering professionals partner with our clients to advise, create, and deploy end-to-end infrastructure transformation solutions, enabling business innovation. IE professionals are grounded in New-IT with an expertise in one or more of our core practice areas: Workplace and Collaboration, Network Technology, Service Management, Hybrid Cloud, Public Cloud, and traditional Data Center.

Accenture's Cloud Infrastructure Engineers contribute to the project management and provide technical expertise to partner with our clients to plan, analyze, design, test and deploy enterprise scale end-to-end cloud transformations solutions. Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Consultants provide delivery management, project execution, and technical expertise to partner with our clients to plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enterprise scale end-to-end cloud, service management, and workplace technology transformation solutions.

The work:
- Participate on a team designing, building and/or testing infrastructure and cloud infrastructure focused solutions
- Participate in teams to design, build, and transform enterprise digital workplace experiences using technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, Zoom and others.
- Develop and deliver strategies and solutions for enterprise infrastructure - including servers, databases, storage devices, etc that handle the data necessary for enterprise operations
- Thoroughly document all facets of the infrastructure solution
- Apply Accenture methodology, Accenture reusable assets, and previous work experience to delivery consistently high-quality work.
- Perform project management activities including the deliver written or oral status reports regularly.
- Stay educated on new and emerging market offerings that may be of interest to our clients.
- Adapt to existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
- Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
- Use considerable judgment to contribute to solutions and seek guidance on complex problems
- Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. Establish methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
- Manage teams and/or work efforts (if in an independent contributor role) at a client or within Accenture, specifically in platform strategy and/or interoperation, migration planning and execution, rationalization or technology transition and deployment projects.
- Support and contribute to RFP and business case development, offering positioning, technical solutioning and awareness campaigns
- Manage aspects of diverse project teams, including onshore/offshore personnel, 3rd parties and customer resources
- Develop presentations which resonate with senior stakeholders
- Support the efforts for constant cross-training and collaboration, as well as mentoring other future SMEs
- Extensive travel may be required.

Qualifications

Here is what you will need:

You must meet one of the following education requirements:
- Bachelor's degree

- Associates degree and 6 years of relevant work experience

- No degree and 12 years of relevant work experience

- Minimum of 6 years of project management experience serving as a workstream, team or technical lead and/or delivery lead
- Minimum of 6 years of workplace and/or collaboration technology design, build, and migration experience
- Minimum of 6 years of infrastructure/network discovery, design, build and migration experience

Accenture Infrastructure Engineering Senior Managers are expected to meet the below qualifications in one or more of the following focus areas:
Workplace and Collaboration

Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas:
- Collaboration Technologies (e.g. Office 365, Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex)
- Device Deployment & Management (e.g. InTune, SCCM, AutoPilot, Workspace ONE, NexThink)
- Cloud Storage (e.g. OneDrive, SharePoint, Box)
- Desktop Virtualization (Windows Virtual Desktop, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop)

Network Technology

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in 2 of the following areas:
- LAN/WAN Technologies (Viptela/Velocoud/Meraki)
- Data Center Network Technologies (load balancers, firewalls)
- Network programming (REST API)

Service Management
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas:
- Infrastructure Automation, including: - Execute infrastructure and cloud automation opportunities
- Implement Infrastructure-as-code, orchestration of scripted processes, and/or containers with technologies such as VMware vRealize suite, Rundeck, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Coffee Script
- Leverage Agile and SAFe approaches to create and execute automation initiatives

- AIOps implementation capabilities at enterprise clients with solution such as Splunk, ServiceNow, New Relic, MoogSoft
- Service Management Transformation with tools such as ServiceNow, BMC
- Cloud Management and Cloud Operating Model with solutions such as Morpheus, ServiceNow, VMware etc supporting major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google.
- Possess an understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, ITIL guidelines and how operations automation helps improve IT services and ITSM processes

Cloud/Hosting
- Minimum of 6 years Infrastructure (Server, Storage, and Database) discovery, design, build, and migration experience.
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas:
- Server Operating Systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.)
- Storage (EMC, NetApp, Glacier, S3, etc.)
- Virtualization Platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Cloud Computing and Storage (AWS, Azure)
- Workload Migration Automation Tools (Double-Take, Racemi, etc.)
- Cloud Management Platforms (vRealize, Gravitant, etc.)
- Infrastructure Automation (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Collaboration (Microsoft SharePoint, Skype for Business, Yammer, OneDrive)
- Service Management as it relates to Cloud/Hosting (ITSM, ITIL, Service Now)
- Datacenter Migration
- Datacenter Operations Management
- Application Lifecycle Management
- Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM)

Bonus points if you have:
- MBA or MIS Advanced degree
- Infrastructure technology certifications including but not limited to AWS/Azure/GCP/VMWare/Microsoft Collaboration/Cisco
- PMP certification
- Previous consulting or client service delivery experience
- Microsoft certification(s) at Fundamentals, Associate or Expert level for Office 365, Modern Desktop or Teams

As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is
$125,000 - $207,399 and information on benefits offered is here.
