Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.

The Application Support Senior Analyst acts as software detectives, they provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Dedicated to quality, they use their problem solving skills to keep our world class systems delivering value to our clients by maintaining custom and/or software application code. They work in challenging and dynamic environments. They also increase efficiency by optimizing work across one or more clients.

Job Description

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Analyzes and solves problems that are lower complexity and may be routine in nature, requiring varied responses depending on the situation.
Interacts with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors. Likely has some interactions with non-management levels at the client and/or within Accenture.
Receives minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments.
Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others.
Individual contributor and/or oversees a small work effort and/or team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of production support experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of Unix/Linux AND SQL scripting experience
  • Must have experience handling level/tier 2 support for the production applications/systems
  • Bachelor's Degree AND equivalent experience required




Preferred Qualifications

  • Good analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with Incident / problem / change management process
