Your Role

The Application Development Specialist is employed to design and develop various applications and software that provide product solutions for various business needs. The development process is long and consists of designing process, building applications, testing it, and dispatching it to the client. The application development specialists play an important role in each of these process and help in appropriate working of the application.

The main duties of an application development specialist include designing product solutions with respect to the specifications given by the business managers, designing and implementing the software, and providing it live to the staff members. After the software is launched, the development specialist also needs to provide training for the software use and support services by undertaking business meetings with the clients. The application development specialist is also responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting any problems detected after the product is launched.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting different versions of software, t esting the software for any bugs, d esigning product for specifications and p roviding appropriate training to the team members


  • Professional Skill Requirements:
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Be able to drive/display ownership/proactive behavior
    • Attend client based meetings
    • Managing the project efficiently
    • Conducting presentations for the employees
    • Working with different project managers
    • Analyzing the technical customer requirements
    • Development of client specific solutions
