Application Development Manager (Multiple Positions)


Application Development Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; Houston, TX): Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. Identify and assess complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and create solutions for implementation by the team. Supervise a team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications. Conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work, and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.



Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.


Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

- Master data integration and business document integration using SAP PI;

- Developing applications and systems using Java, J2EE, JavaServer Pages (JSP), JavaScript, XML, Web services, Oracle, or SQL;

- Electronic signature integration with ERP system using DocuSign or Adobe Document Cloud eSign Service application;

- Implementing software development lifecycle process, including requirements gathering, system design, build, system and regression testing, and deployment;

- Driving key architectural and design decisions and suggesting improvements on ongoing performance issues;

- Monitoring and improving scalability and availability, defining archiving strategies, and analyzing the server logs with performance tuning; and

- Managing onshore and offshore delivery teams.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

- SAP Ariba vendor management and integration with SAP ERP and SAP Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management (SIPM);

- Sourcing and contract management using SAP Ariba Spend Management or SAP CLM/eSourcing application;

- Leading project deliverables following Agile methodology using DevOps;

- Invoice management and integration with SAP ERP and SAP Ariba Spend Management;

- Ariba Network application for Ariba OnDemand solution; and

- Using process mining tools, including Celonis or ARIS.

Must have a willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
