Application Development Associate Manager (Multiple Positions)


Application Development Associate Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; El Segundo, CA): Develop, design, and maintain software products or systems to enable client strategies. Analyze, design, build, and test new components or enhancements to existing module. Analyze and solve moderately complex problems. Design and code applications to functional and technical programming standards. Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components. Create operational documentation for the application. Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Develop and implement testing plans. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. Understand strategic direction set by senior management and implement methods and procedures set by management. Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.

+ Basic qualifications


Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.


  • Of the required experience, 3 years of experience must be in each of the following: Developing enterprise applications using following technologies: Java, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JSF, JSTL, Tag Libraries, ORM using Hibernate, JPA, JNDI, JMS, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Web Services, XML, XSLT, HTML, XHTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, JSON, JUNIT, DBUNIT, Easy Mock, and LOG4J; utilizing Control-M tool to schedule the batch processes; utilizing SOAP UI to test SOAP interfaces; utilizing knowledge of Batch/Interface framework, Host-to-Host connection framework, Task framework, and Forms framework; utilizing Database Normalization concepts in designing New Database Tables; utilizing Oracle, DB2, MySQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer, and Microsoft Access; writing procedures, triggers, and views, and developing packages for Oracle database; Custom Development and Production Support; People Management; and, Client Management.

  • Must have a willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
