Application Development Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Associate Manager in Chicago, IL to lead a global team to complete all client work requests related to Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, SharePoint Online, Internet Information Services (IIS), Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Azure DevOps Server defined on the SLA agreement of Accenture and the client. S/he will perform the following duties: provide support and code enhancements on C#.Net, JavaScript, and jQuery custom web applications for the Client IT Business applications; create Weekly/Monthly reports for Management in terms of Service Level Agreement metrics; triaged Incident tickets related to Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, SharePoint Online, Internet Information Services (IIS), Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Azure DevOps according to priority and assign them to the Global Team Members; coordinate and conduct SharePoint Server Patching activities on the multiple SharePoint Server farms of the Client;; perform regression testing on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, SharePoint Online, Internet Information Services (IIS), Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Azure DevOps architecture and server farms during deployments; provide primary support for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, SharePoint Online, Internet Information Services (IIS), Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Azure DevOps application issues that includes critical fixes for severity tickets related to application outages and infrastructure issues; provide continuous improvement items to address recurring issues or prevent new issues; implement best practices for software support and custom development requests by the client; investigate, code and test production support tickets for Web applications and other related applications for the client; perform programming and technical designs; implement and test configuration and code changes to meet functional and technical requirements; translate functional designs into technical specifications; collaborate with business analysts to clarify application requirements; identify technical root cause and impact analysis of errors; work with offshore resources to ensure consistency and quality of programming duties; coordinate and conduct patching activities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Software Product Development Lead, Application Developer, Software Quality Assurance Engineer or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience performing SharePoint Administration activities to maintain and secure the SharePoint platform and provide end user education; 5 years of experience developing applications in Microsoft .NET (C#.Net, JavaScript, and jQuery) to enhance web based applications; 5 years of experience performing project and operations management activities to assist in delivering and maintaining key service levels agreements; 2 years of experience designing and performing SharePoint product upgrades and migrations to allow customers to seamlessly upgrade to the latest version of the SharePoint product; and 2 years of experience performing Internet Information Services (IIS) and Team Foundation Server (TFS) Administration activities to maintain and secure the clients web and development platforms and enable continuous integration and continuous development ("CI/CD") processes.

Telecommuting is permitted for this role; need to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
