AAA Club Alliance is seeking a full-time Unified Communications Analyst (Level 3) for our Mount Laurel, NJ location. The Unified Communication Analysts role is to coordinate strategies for " and ensure the integrity of Telephony, WFO, Video and Messaging Platforms. This includes configuring, diagnosing, repairing, upgrading and optimizing all Unified Communication platforms and services mentioned above. The position will also analyze and resolve telecommunications circuit issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and assist all user needs. The Unified Communication Analysts mandate will be to maintain SLAs for all organizational telecom applications. The Unified Communication Analysts role is to coordinate strategies for " and ensure the integrity of Telephony, WFO, Video and Messaging Platforms. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Level 1:

  • Perform Tier 1 support for Unified and Telecommunications systems. Support and troubleshoot issues with CCE, AES, and MX.  Maintain and support PBX and ancillary technology software, media channels and devices.
  • Provide secondary support Unified and Telecommunications support during troubleshooting of all other system as needed.
  • Handle Move Add and Changes, including program basic auto attendants, user setup on telephone switch, including ACD logons, voicemail, and CMS logons.
  • Communicate effectively with end users regarding the status of their requests.
  • Assist with Inspection, testing, and maintenance of telephone lines, circuits, trunks, and associated wiring and cabling.
  • Remain current on new products, services, protocols, and standards in support of mentioned platforms development and equipment procurement.
  • Assist in the training of Trainers for Telecommunications systems.  Prepare Training material for Telecom systems.
  • Acknowledge and abide by Information Security Policies
  • Participate in PCI compliance activities as required, including providing evidence for quarterly and yearly audits

Level 2:

All of level 1 plus

  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future Unified Communication platform needs.
  • Where necessary, liaise with equipment vendors during installations, acquisition negotiations, and hardware performance issues.
  • Work independently to resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Perform Tier 2 support for Unified and Telecommunications systems.
  • Be the Unified Communications lead on projects
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis of Unified and Telecom Incidents.
  • Conduct testing and development disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions, and backup systems.
  • Monitor and identify capacity and performance issues for telecom traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telecom systems.
  • Generate usage and network traffic reports for voice video and messaging systems
  • Configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user unified messaging telephony, and voice/data software products.
  • Design and support unified messaging infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, interactive voice response, video conferencing systems and messaging platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with business line managers regarding the status of their departments request.

Level 3:

All of level 1&2 plus

  • Assist the Unified Communications Solutions Architect in the design of systems.
  • Work with Solution Architect and project teams to ensure understanding of solutions
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training plans for telecommunication systems appropriate use.
  • Plan the Unified Communication strategies for company call center to ensure that efficient and effective customer interaction is achieved.
  • Integrate these systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and Internet-based services and protocols.
  • Integrate these systems with Business applications to enhance business functionality
  • Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of telecommunications problems for end users; recommend and implement corrective solutions.

Position Requirements

Level 3:

  • Bachelors degree (BS/BA) or equivalent in Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6+ years experience in Unified Communications platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially in a telecommunications field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data.
  • Excellent initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, especially in a technical environment.
  • Certification in a leading telecommunications hardware/software package is required.

Work Conditions

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other communications/computer components.
  • Occasional inspection of cables and wiring in floors and ceilings.
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as telecommunications equipment and peripherals.
  • Occasional travel between central, district and remote offices which include air and auto travel.
