Lead Consultant, Kroger Merchandising - KPF / P1701

The Lead Consultant, Kroger Merchandising KPF, is an integral part of the development, execution and delivery of the strategic roadmap for Kroger Personal Finance (KPF). By challenging the status quo and delivering actionable customer insights, the consultant will embed new capabilities and ways of thinking into KPF’s organization.  In strong partnership with the Customer Communications, Targeting, Customer Experience and Analysis teams, the consultant will lead the strategy and execution of communications and analytical work steams for multiple business lines within KPF.

 As a Lead Consultant, Kroger Merchandising , you will be responsible for:

  • Championing customer needs and creation of financial services experiences that help to make customers lives easier and differentiate Kroger
  • Partnering with key business and executive stakeholders to identify the intersection between business objectives and customer needs in order to devise solutions which meet the objectives of the client and the customer
  • Owning the end-to-end plan for leveraging data and insight to help bring KPF customer strategies to life
  • Collaboration with 84.51° Customer Communications and Targeting teams on the development and execution of personalized communications for a highly engaged Kroger customer segment
  • Actively seeking out ways for the team to contribute to future roadmap and experience creation for KPF
  • Staying informed of competitive and industry trends to identify future opportunities for driving forward a personalized financial customer experience at Kroger
  • Collaborating across 84.51° Functions and Mission teams to share learnings and ensure customer principles and approaches are foundational to all areas

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast paced environment that is a little unorthodox at times and will possess the following:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in consulting, product management or professional services working directly with retailers or CPGs
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, people, and stakeholder management skills are required
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
  • Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Robust business acumen; grocery retail and/or experience in financial services is a plus
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • An openness and willingness to try new things and to fail; welcomes and embraces change

  EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in business, finance, statistics, analytics, or a related field
