Kroger Precision Marketing - Senior Product Consultant On-Site Advertising / P1554

At 84.51°, Kroger Precision Marketing enables brands to deliver relevant messages, offers and experiences to their best consumers through direct-to-consumer communications, programmatic digital advertising, and in-store activation. 

As an On-Site Advertising Product Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the solution development roadmap, implementing business processes with Kroger, 84.51°, partners & CPGs and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless on-site advertising platform execution.  You will work closely with the On-Site Advertising Product Strategy and Innovation team to deliver against financial commitments for the On-Site product mix, continually strengthening the product suite & deliver strong ROAS to advertisers. 

This job will focus on several key initiatives:

  • Bring new on-property digital media solutions to market that deliver on our promise to make people’s lives easier by making media more relevant
  • Leverage our proprietary assets and industry expertise to develop and scale solutions that:
    • create a win-win-win experience for consumers, retailers and brands through advertising engagements across all Kroger digital touchpoints and fulfillment options
    • distinguish Kroger’s capabilities & consumer intel from competitive ecommerce platforms
    • disrupt the industry’s status quo in targeting & measurement for digital advertising
  • Act as a liaison between the commercial teams and analyst teams to ensure solutions are designed to meet the needs of our core clients and deliver a strong ROAS
  • Support development of new solutions from ideation, stakeholder assessment and alignment, capability requirements development, partner evaluation, pilot testing and launch
  • Execute against business processes developed between Kroger, 84.51° and 3rd party partners
  • Support launch plan for new solutions across deliverable design, collateral development, external marketing plan, sales team training, and process development
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our core solutions both internally and externally – continually evaluating the industry landscape, staying current on competitive research and maintaining distance for our product portfolio



 The right person will thrive in a fast-paced environment and must possess the following:

  •  Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics or analytics.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant digital marketing experience (agency, retailer or CPG)
  • Experience working in media buying, media planning and/or data onboarding
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, people, and diplomacy skills are required
  • Innovative thinker that can deliver thought leadership in consumer-focused digital media
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Initiative, detail orientation, strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
