Company Description is an E-commerce marketplace connecting parents with local after school activity providers. At Afterschoolz we believe that all kids are destined to be successful. We exist to help all kids find their passion. We make it easy for parents to find and book after-school activities for their kids.

Job Description - Marketing / Business Development Intern

Depending on your background and skills, you will be building marketing programs to create demand and engagement for both sides of the Afterschoolz marketplace. For parents we are trying to develop programs that encourage parents to visit our site and purchase after school activities for their kids.. For activity providers we are building marketing programs that help them to effectively sell their classes online.


We are looking for creative people who have a passion for building excellent products. You must be working on (or have) a technical or marketing degree or have some other way of demonstrating your business development and marketing inclinations. If you have other interests such as art, literature, philosophy, that is a big plus for us. If you participate in challenging activities like running marathons or climbing mountains, that is a big plus as well. We appreciate people who love challenges and have the discipline to overcome them. We are not interested in technicians who are turned on by knowing arcane details about computer languages or the open rates on their email marketing campaigns. We are looking for creative thinkers who love to use technology to model and solve challenging real world problems.
