Cooking Instructor - iCook After School

About iCook

iCook After School is a really fun, hands-on after-school cooking program for children. Our mission is simple: to help teach children to love everything about food – cooking, eating delicious and healthful dishes and learning about different cultures (stories behind the food).

We make every experience fun because we start with great recipes and fresh ingredients, colorful cooking stations and engaging activities.

If you love to cook, have experience working with children, and have several available hours in the afternoon, we may have a role for you at iCook. We are currently hiring instructors to teach our after-school cooking classes.

Our cooking classes are held in various elementary schools in Chicago and the suburbs. The classes are 1 hour and 15 min. During each class students work on two recipes, and are exposed to nutritional information presented by instructor. We do provide the recipes, activates and nutritional information for each class. The instructor is responsible for purchasing groceries for each class – all grocery expenses are reimbursed.
