Digital Analyst

Position Overview

 

The Digital Analyst will work as a member of a tight-knit cross-functional team to help drive growth of a strategically important new product offering – ExpressExam, our online vision exam platform. As a Digital Analyst, you will take the lead role in analyzing data and unearthing insights that help the product team decide how to best design, develop, and market this product.

 In this role you will:

  • Use quantitative and qualitative tools to understand consumer behavior to help define product strategy
  • Participate in annual product planning, new product design, and continuous product review and feature improvement
  • Assist in prioritizing development efforts by assessing the opportunity size and forecasting the macro impact on the business
  • Identify A/B and multivariate testing opportunities and establish success metrics, then help deploy and analyze these tests
  • Coordinate with technical teams (e.g. BI) to leverage data from multiple sources, ensuring accurate and comprehensive web analytics and successful deployment of new solutions
  • Analyze customer, transaction, and campaign data to identify trends and patterns in marketing campaign performance and/or customer behavior
  • Evaluate trends, patterns, and results to determine business impact of email and digital activities and provide campaign improvement recommendations
  • Provide insight into site visitor behavior and engagement in order to inform site design changes and marketing initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for analysis and optimization that increase site conversion and drive revenue
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise reporting on KPIs measuring product and marketing performance

 This role is intended for high performing individuals who show strong potential for future advancement within the company. The Digital Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager, Strategy and Business Development.

 Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 2+ years’ data analyst experience, familiarity with Adobe Analytics a plus
  • Ability to drive meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, stat formulas, etc.); SQL experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; able to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner while balancing technical and business perspectives
