Paolo attended Bocconi University, where he studied international business management. He then went on to work at Google for eight years, worked with people all around the world, and attended Google's marketing training program at Wharton Business School to study management and marketing. Paolo came to ZX Ventures a year ago—and has since applied his experience in working with international teams for the company.
In his job, Paolo works with teams across different countries to develop advanced marketing strategies and tactics through the deployment of new technologies, sharing of best practices, and alignment with other teams and functions. He also helps large brands leverage the opportunities presented by e-commerce for their integrated marketing campaigns.
“A project that I’m proud of was when I had to figure out the way we calculate customer lifetime value because there’s not a clear approach in the industry. I got the chance to work and brainstorm and tackle these projects with talented people in very interesting businesses in different countries—that's what made it so interesting for me.”
