Oumar credits his love of programming to the fact that he was gifted a computer in elementary school. It came with several programming books and even more potential—so Oumar spent all his time tinkering with the machine. By the time he entered college, majoring in computer science was a given—and it came with great career prospects, like ZestFinance.
Oumar begins his day scrolling through emails to catch up on any bugs or new objectives that came in from the afternoon before. Then he syncs up with other engineers to plan the day’s projects or run through status reports. Once the plan is set, Oumar joins his programming partner and gets to work—which often involves learning new languages along the way.
