Listening To Its Members
WeWork’s business revolves around its members, and the team always makes sure to focus and listen to their needs. With regular “Town Hall Meetings,” WeWork gives its members a forum to provide feedback and collectively brainstorm new ways that WeWork can help their businesses grow. By getting members actively involved in its strategies, WeWork fosters a strong community environment and spearheads initiatives that clients really appreciate.
Just like the communal environment it nurtures for its members, WeWork strives to make sure its team gets time to connect with one another and feel part of something bigger. The WeWork NYC team is currently preparing for a week-long ski trip to Vermont, where its excited to participate in some good old-fashioned bonding while skiing the slopes and create new office memories that will build a strong working team.
“It’s an intense environment because we live with our customers. You have to have energy every day because your mood, your excitement has to flow to the members.”

“We do a lot of our decision-making based on what the community is looking for—what do they want, what do they need, and how can we help.”
