Janette's journey to real estate started at home. Following graduation from San Diego State University, she relocated to the Bay Area—and getting to know the staff at her new apartment leasing office led her to look for jobs in real estate. Janette applied to Waypoint Homes on a colleague’s recommendation, and now she’s worked in property management for more than a decade.

Janette's usually in the office by 8:00 AM, starting each day with breakfast as she checks and responds to emails. Afterwards, she confirms her schedule and reviews the day's events. For the rest of the day, Janette leads back-to-back meetings on everything from leasing to customer service with multiple Waypoint Homes teams across the company.
