Accounting for Creativity
Captivated by VSCO’s mission, Emily joined after she met with management. Following a traditional accounting route, Emily spent years working in venture capital, healthcare, and technology. However, she found that she enjoyed working for consumer product companies where the products are understandable and usable. Working at VSCO has created a perfect melding of Emily’s interests.

What Emily Does
VP of Finance & Operations
As the VP of Finance & Operations, Emily’s days are atypical by nature. No two days are the same, as she interacts with teams across the organization. Emily focuses on creating an environment where well-planned decisions regarding VSCO’s financial and operational health are made. She drives financial responsibility at the company through budgeting and goal-setting procedures.

“VSCO is the first place I’ve worked where I really feel like myself. I feel like the same person, seamlessly, from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed. That’s so important to our culture because everyone brings themselves fully to work. We don’t need to hide any part of ourselves.”

“We haven’t even scratched the surface of what we can do at VSCO. We have so many dreams and thoughts around what we can build and the impact we can make. There’s so much to do, and it’s exciting to know we have so much potential to reach.”
