Steve studied computer science as an undergraduate, then went to work in consulting. He served at a wide variety companies, ranging from large corporations to small firms, in a multitude of industries—including medical, automotive, and military. While Steve enjoyed his time as a consultant, he yearned for an opportunity to work with a startup environment, which is why he came to Viral Launch.
When Steve came to Viral Launch less than a year ago, he was only the fifth full-time employee. Since then, the company has grown to a team of over 20, and Steve has created six different systems and three different databases for the firm. There’s nothing that slows Steve down—his mind is constantly churning out new innovative systems that can pull more data faster and more efficiently.
“To be successful here, you have to be self-driven. You need to be able to come in and take care of what needs to be done without being told what to do.”
“A project I’m working on is a market research tool. When someone enters a simple Amazon search term, we pull data from different sources, aggregate the top listings, and run our own custom sales estimation algorithms. Then, we bring all this data together in real time and show people so they get a quick understanding of their target market.”
