India’s Story
Where It All Began
India’s interest in veterinary medicine started when she was 15 and she brought her dog to Veterinary Specialty Center with a leg injury. She worked in the VSC ward throughout high school, walking dogs and cleaning cages. After completing veterinary school and her residency, India returned to the clinic as a board-certified surgeon.

What India Does
Surgeon
For patients in need of advanced surgery, India provides comprehensive explanations of injuries and diseases and offers suggestions for treatment. In emergency situations—like the case of Bosco, a German Shepherd who suffered severe trauma to his legs—India makes crucial decisions. Thanks to India and her team, Bosco has returned to his normal routine of running around his yard.

“The people who are most successful here are outgoing and friendly and willing to help. I think being a team player is really important in this hospital, and really is what makes us unique.”
