Jade grew up in northern Virginia and studied mass communications at Virginia State University before finding herself in the USA TODAY NETWORK. Before discovering project management as it affects employees, Jade worked in marketing and sales operations. In fact, that’s how she landed her current role—by starting as a market research analyst at USA TODAY.

Jade serves as a resource to people across more than 100 USA TODAY properties by taking her role beyond functional responsibilities. She focuses on strengthening communications from the top down and shaping the company’s culture. Because of her reach, Jade helps infuse HR into the fabric of the business—leading Take Your Child to Work Day is just one example.
