Putting His Degree To Work
Sean attended the University of Connecticut and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. It was at a recruiting event at his school where he was introduced to Unilever. Sean loved the idea of being able to work in an industrial lab, formulating products people use every day. It was the perfect match.

What Sean Does
Scientist, Research & Development, Product Development
Sean’s job can be boiled down into two areas—technical development and project management. On the one hand, he is a formulator who spends his days designing and testing new body washes for men. On the other, in order to manage a project effectively, Sean works with teams across the company, from Marketing to Packaging.

“The biggest thing that we try to achieve here is delighting our consumers, because at the end of the day, regardless of how the product gets in their hands, it had better delight them—because we want them to come back and get it again.”
