Amanda graduated Cal State-Northridge as a graphic design major during the recession and fortunately found a job as a web designer. Amanda wasn’t content being a “pixel pusher” at the end of the product—she wanted to understand the strategy that went behind those businesses decisions, which led her to her role in product management.
Amanda is the product owner of one of true[X]'s core products, the ad serving platform. Daily tasks include management of the product life cycle, developing new product features with stakeholders, business strategy, wire-framing, user experience flows, product development kick-offs, market research, position papers, validated learning, data analysis, writing and presenting release notes, product training, and product marketing.
“We’re always thinking about the next big innovation, and honestly, sometimes my head will spin thinking about these really big projects. But later, we’ll look back and see that we not only met but surpassed that goal.”
“Everybody here is smart, kind, wants to be involved with everything, curious, and really dedicated to the vision of the company.”
