Kassie studied music but soon found herself in the wedding planning business. A love for the arts led her back to her creative roots. She heard of the Kennedy Center’s fantastic internships from her college sorority and was hired for an event planner position. Then, she ambitiously moved on to development and programming by seizing every opportunity that came her way.
Coordinator, Theater & Classical Music Programming
Kassie teams with the Kennedy Center’s Theatre and Music Departments to present the public with the most captivating theatrical performances imaginable. She plans, coordinates, and designs the Kennedy Center’s special programming and entertainment events, connecting audiences with characters and artistic stories, from the script to the stage.
