While earning her BS in communications from Kennesaw State University, Catherine happened to meet a Terrapin sales director at a bar, and she talked her way into an internship. After graduating—with a focus in PR and event coordination—Catherine worked for various PR firms and other breweries in Georgia before finally returning to rejoin the Terrapin team.
After her morning yoga, Catherine responds to emails before calling her sales manager and heading out into the field to meet with clients—between six and ten daily. Catherine loves the flexibility to check on her dogs during the day, the opportunity to organize Terrapin’s presence at events—like the Twilight Race—and the chance to get her Cicerone Certification.
“We have a great open-door policy. You can go to anyone in the company—whether it’s the president, co-founders, or our Packaging Team—and they’re always ready to help you.”
“We have lots of opportunities to learn about the brewing process and different styles of beer—everything you need to know—along with in-depth tasting courses led by the QA Department to help you get that Terrapin tongue.”
