Growing up, Kalisa told herself she was going to learn everything there was to know about food—because even though she didn’t want to work at a restaurant, she had the feeling that studying food would lead her to something she loved. That path took her to the French Culinary Institute and then to dreaming of a job in "food media"—which was exactly what she found at Tasting Table.
What Kalisa Does

Tasting Table has two sets of customers—its readers and its advertisers—and Kalisa works to make sure things go smoothly with both. Day-to-day, she’s responsible for everything from quality control of the website to ensuring that Tasting Table emails land in every reader’s inbox. On the advertising side, she also helps plan and execute ad campaigns that will appeal to Tasting Table’s advertising partners and readers alike.
