Asya studied statistics in college while on a tennis scholarship, and then got a job in DC at an HR consulting firm. Around the time she wanted a change of pace, she got a call from Taco Bell—they were looking for someone with her mix of math and people skills to join the HR Team. Impressed by the amount of mobility and learning opportunities within the company, Asya gladly accepted Taco Bell's offer.
Asya ensures that Taco Bell employees are provided with a complete work experience—which includes great pay, amazing recognition, wellness programs, and development opportunities. In her day-to-day, she oversees multiple wellness and employee recognition programs—both for the Corporate Team and Field Teams—so that workers know they’re appreciated. Asya also provides guidelines for the company’s field compensation, and analyzes new ways to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover.
