Understanding the importance of wide-ranging knowledge, Akua enriched her advertising degree from the University of Austin by studying psychology and the African Diaspora. After gaining experience with firms in Austin and Portland, Akua brought her knowledge to Carat in NYC, learning the crucial importance of precision, detail, and data in digital-advertising—before joining Taboola.
Akua starts her day by touching base with her clients, answering emails, and quickly figuring out the best ways to optimize their campaigns before moving into more detailed afternoon meetings. Her main goal is to ensure her clients’ specific goals are achieved, helping small, often niche brands connect in a meaningful way with their audiences.
