Zach studied graphic design and launched his career as a freelancer as soon as he moved to Toronto. Once he’d settled in, Zach was invited by a friend to a development conference hosted by the company Symbility Intersect acquired—which gave Zach the opportunity to meet the future CEO. A few days later, he got an email request to interview for a front-end developer spot.
Since Zach is both a leader and a designer, he splits his time between strategic guidance and hands-on work. If he isn’t consulting with other internal team leads, Zach focuses on prototyping to find better ways of designing. As a result, he also studies Atomic design concepts and looks for opportunities to add them to processes across the board.
