Peter’s Story
Canadian Dream
Peter, a Polish immigrant who came to Canada as a refugee, considers himself a weirdo technology generalist who’s also living the Canadian dream. After studying computer networking and web design, he built a game that sold to a major buyer—then continued chasing game success until he joined the company that Symbility Intersect acquired. Luckily, Peter came with the deal.

What Peter Does
Senior Software Engineer
Peter splits his time between programming, back-end web design, and mobile projects—when he isn’t helping developers sort out their work or review code. Since the team takes on multiple projects, Peter takes the lead to make progress on one while his peers hang back and build out another. Then, he loops around for quality control and the occasional Mario Kart battle.

“New projects come up all the time that use the latest technologies. I constantly get to practice and stay ahead.”

“Sometimes I feel stupid because the people who work here are brilliant. It’s actually a godsend to have peers like that.”
