Tim grew up in the Chicago area and was the youngest of six children. He became interested in mechanical engineering at a young age while listening to his older brother talk about the field. A number of college internships took Tim to other cities, but he realized that he wanted to return to Chicago, the city he loved.
Always ready for a challenge, Tim seeks to develop both his technical and professional skills while working on a number of very different projects simultaneously. On-site, he fixes the mechanical issues with the turbines. He works on a team with five other people, and they hold regular internal project meetings to prioritize projects and address clients’ concerns.
“I’m surrounded by projects and people who are continuously asking more and more of me. They never give me too much responsibility to handle, but they certainly give me enough to make me feel like I’m maximizing my potential.”
“Come in with the understanding that you have a lot to learn and you’ll be surrounded by people who will teach you.”
