Melina studied interior design at Ryerson University. She spent the first few years of her career working solely on healthcare projects, learning how different environments could affect human behavior. Eventually, Melina decided to apply for a position at Stantec for the opportunity to focus more on the overall functionality of a space.
Melina’s days differ depending on what phase of a project she’s working on at the time. She focuses mainly on Stantec’s healthcare clients to create facilities where people with different illnesses can feel comfortable and improve their wellbeing. Melina liaises with consultants on mechanical, electric, art, signage, and other issues on a day-to-day basis.
