David has a BFA from the School of Visual Art in New York with a focus in graphic design with illustration. He has worked in a marketing capacity for Hasbro, Sony Music, and Rockstar Games. David went on to gain experience in digital advertising at Deep Focus, and followed his passion for design to Some Spider.
David oversees a team of creative motion designers to make appealing content for Some Spider’s social media platforms, Scary Mommy and Cafe. He’s actively involved in the creative process that goes into developing new logos, images, and motion videos—and often collaborates with his team before going live with a product.
“A piece of work I’m proud of was rebranding the Scary Mommy logo. We really tried to make sure that what we create resonates with us and our audience. That’s important, because we want to make sure the people who work here are relatable to the public we’re sharing our work with.”
