The Next Big New-Media Company
Founded by Vinit Bharara, co-founder of Diapers.com, the leadership at Some Spider is comprised of people who have been successful in similar capacities. Many come from Facebook or the New York Times, and have gone toe-to-toe with retail brands like Amazon. These are people with inspiring leadership skills striving to turn the industry on its head—and willing to share what they know along the way.

Some Spider is home to two channels—Scary Mommy and Cafe. Scary Mommy is the biggest online parenting brand that reaches over 100 million people a month, while Cafe is the company’s 2016 breakout news and humor brand reaching over 60 million people a month. Both are tailor-made identity channels for new-media platforms, and the company is on the verge of adding more.
