Progressing with the digital landscape, Ginny turned her skills as a fashion and beauty print journalist into expertise in branding on digital platforms—working within the brand now, instead of covering it. After getting an MBA at UCLA, she switched careers to help tell Smashbox’s unique story and build it as a modern brand.
By 9:30 AM, Ginny has reviewed her schedule and scanned her inbox for any hot topics. She works most closely with the Creative and Product Marketing Teams to develop consumer-facing programs, campaigns, and content for all of Smashbox’s launches. Since digital plays a big role at the brand, she obsessively checks Smashbox’s social media platforms throughout the day to see what consumers are engaging with, in order to help develop strategy.
