Alex majored in journalism at the University of Minnesota, but as she moved through post-graduate life, she gravitated more toward social media. The transition led her to roles managing celebrity social media accounts and strategizing social engagement for an NBA team. Ultimately, Alex came to Smashbox for its family-like culture and all-digital approach to advertising.
Alex arrives at 9:30 AM, armed with a to-do list she prepared the day before. Assuming no surprises popped up overnight, she gets right down to work. Some days, that means helping on video shoots, and on other days, she’s developing social guidelines to shape the company’s voice. Alex also takes part in guerilla marketing campaigns and travels frequently.
