After eight years in advertising technology, Brett came to Smartly because he missed being a Facebook partner—something he experienced in one of his first roles. Before making the move, Brett put his education in marketing to use by shaping social media strategy, which gave him his first taste of life in account management as a marketing partner for the social media network.

Brett collaborates with diverse employees across the organization to compile leads and follow up on prospective relationships. Brett enjoys the freedom that Smartly's flat hierarchy gives him to focus on what he thinks is the most beneficial strategy for the team—personally, he strongly believes in a product-first approach that gives customers exactly what they need.
