Melissa started off on the broadcast journalism route, but along the way, she discovered a strong interest in production—and the joy of creating an incredible product. Before joining SmartBrief, Melissa worked both on Capitol Hill and for the Discovery Channel, and she brought her diverse experience with her to the innovative Advertising Operations Team.
Melissa identifies internal infrastructure challenges and resolves them efficiently to execute SmartBrief's larger long-term goals. She communicates with all departments—making international calls regarding data warehouse projects and meeting with developers and Advertising Operations to invent and implement solutions that smoothly and steadily advance all of SmartBrief's internet systems.
