While attending Wesleyan University, Tom studied economics and excelled as a two-sport athlete. The diverse mix of people and social backgrounds at college eventually led him to SmartBear as an account executive. As a team manager, Tom oversees six people, which is a challenging but rewarding post that parallels his athletic college days.
Tom’s daily schedule depends on where in the quarter the company is—and what projects are on his plate, which can change dramatically. But for Tom, it’s this variety that makes it interesting. At any time, he could be closing deals, meeting with his team to make sure delivery plans are happening, or planning for the next quarter.
