Isabella’s Story
Problem Seeker
Having graduated from MIT with a degree in math and computer science, Isabella made her way to the Bay Area, spending a year at a startup. After reading a blog post by Noah Weiss, Slack’s Head of SLI, Isabella became excited by the problems tackled at Slack, and she’s been on the team ever since.

Isabella comes into the office each day and has the opportunity to really focus on her project—currently refining Slack’s new Expert Search feature—without being bogged down by tons of meetings, which tend to take an ad-hoc style within her team. This allows Isabella to get support when she needs it, while giving her flexibility to problem-solve independently.
