Heather heard about Slack through her brother's friend, an early employee at Slack. Seeing how happy he was with his position, Heather started researching the company, and soon came across a posting for a Customer Experience position. When she was hired, the actual department didn’t exist in Vancouver, so Heather was able to help build it from the ground up.
Heather’s arrives to the office around 9:00 AM, and she begins her morning by scrolling through Slack to get an idea of what users are experiencing. Throughout the day, Heather meets one-on-one with each member of her team, as well as once weekly with other team managers, in order to implement new strategies, processes, and efficiencies.
