Talib’s Story
No Experience Necessary
Talib studied biology at George Mason University. However, with a love for technology and coding, he’s spent the last 10 years working as a software engineer. At Shutterstock, he’s expanded his skillset and now focuses on front-end development. Coding’s been a hobby of his for as long as he can remember, so for Talib, the work doesn’t feel like work at all.

What Talib Does
Software Engineer III
Talib starts his morning with a stand-up meeting to see what everyone on his team is working on. It’s also a great opportunity to see if anyone’s experiencing any blocks that the Engineering Team might be able to resolve. When he’s not in meetings, he spends the majority of his days writing code and collaborating with other engineers.
