Although Paul studied electrical engineering in college in his native Ireland, creative content was his true passion. He transitioned into content marketing, successfully building teams and shipping products at Rovi and ProQuest before stamping his mark at Shutterstock. Paul recalled his first month as hectic—it was an unique opportunity for him to get his hands dirty and change the course of the culture.
Paul starts out his busy day analyzing the content that arrives the night before from Shutterstock contributors. He then vets and reviews the original sources of the content and stockpiles it on the website for clients to license. Paul also rallies with the Customer Support, Content Management, Product, and Tech Teams to provide all customers with the best user experiences.
